The Lil' Green Book of Karting came about from my need to understand how to effectively set up a Kart chassis (either a rear brake only or front and rear brake shifter chassis). Being new to the sport, the need for understanding both these types of chassis led to extensive research. Information sources ranged from anecdotal information to academic papers that describe vehicle tire-grip performance under load. My background in physics and reliability maintenance helped me understand Kart performance theory, and I wanted to share this understanding with other Karters.

The 2015 P1 affords you the highest level of rib protection and comfort available without increasing the thickness, or reducing the feel from the chassis. The P1 has adjustable rear angle to adapt to many different body shapes. The soft suede-plastic outer skin does not allow the bolts to damage the race suits, whilst the rigid internal composite side panels spread the loads perfectly and retain their shape even on a hot day.
Sold individually with 1x Bolt and 1x Washer or as complete kit.The incredibly flat bolt and washer (2.5mm thick) combination does not destroy you race suit, your rib protector, or your body. They enable you to tighten the seat bolts without fear of the washer pulling through, as they often do with plastic countersunk washers, or bottoming out as they can do will regular steel washers. The design of the washer is such that it allows the head of the bolt to twist in the washer which stops the seat from breaking during the twisting forces generated by the chassis.
The T11 is the seat most often used by the professional teams. With young drivers growing ever taller, there was a need to lower the body weight. We designed the T11 range to obtain an even lower driving position than the T5, whilst at the same time keeping an upright shoulder position which allows the drivers to retain full control of their karts without upsetting the weight distribution through the corners. The flat area on the bottom of the seat is larger than the T5 and the back angle has been changed to 58 degrees.
T11t Tillet seat has a 58 Degree back angle and is more flexible than the T11 Standard. It fill the rigity gap between the T11 and the T11VG. The T11t was originally developed for the Tony kart chassis and works great in all chassis where you would like a more flexible seat than the standard flex seat. The shape was developed because drivers are getting taller. The high center of gravity can cause handling problems when the tracks are grippy and covered in rubber. The shape has now become one of the most copied throughout the world. The T11t creates a very low head position, giving a low centre of gravity and better aerodynamics which helps the taller drivers. The shape and size is the same as the T5 Reverse only with a more inclined seating angle.

The Tillett T11VG is for those people wanting an uncovered flexible seat. The Tillett T11VG has been designed to fit in the same place as standard Italian fiberglass, therefore avoiding positioning problems that can occur in some types of chassis.
