The increased internal diameter slows down the velocity of the water in that part of the duct, so that the outer fins can optimize heat exchange.

NOTE: The adjustable curtain will not fit the RS Big radiator. Although of more recent design (2005), the Big can be considered the “older brother” of New-Line radiators. It came about as an evolution of the RS, but compared to its predecessor it was created to satisfy kartists who race in the summer months and/or in areas with hotter climates. Being 29 cm wide, in fact, it has a broader cooling grid surface and therefore a higher cooling power, which make it ideal in the hottest of weathers.
