Bluetooth Programming
The Gear Control Unit connects wirelessly to The Lab smartphone app for Android and iOS devices. Drivers can easily adjust ignition cut timing, neutral engagement force, and additional operating parameters to optimize shifting for different engines, gearing, track conditions, and driving styles.
Adaptive Cut-Off Technology
Unlike fixed ignition cut systems, the SPORT system continuously adjusts ignition cut duration based on driving conditions. Longer ignition cuts provide smoother shifts during corner exit acceleration, while shorter cuts maximize acceleration on straights for consistently fast gear changes.
Precision Electronic Rotary Actuator
Gear changes are performed by a compact high-speed electronic rotary actuator developed through extensive race testing. An oversized planetary gearbox provides excellent durability, repeatability, and long service life under demanding racing conditions.
Magnetic Paddle Hinges
The CNC-machined paddle assembly incorporates sealed magnetic hinges that help prevent dirt, rubber debris, and track contaminants from entering the hinge mechanism while providing smooth, positive paddle operation.
Neutral Assist
Neutral can be engaged by pressing and holding the left paddle for approximately one second. Neutral engagement force is adjustable through the Bluetooth application for quick and reliable operation.
