The New-Line RS-MAX2 LIGHT is engineered to sit between compact radiators and full oversized units, offering an ideal balance of cooling capacity, weight reduction, and chassis efficiency. Compared to smaller R-series radiators, the RS-MAX2 LIGHT provides a larger cooling surface while remaining significantly lighter than BIG and DOUBLE MAX configurations.
At its core is New-Line’s MAX radiator core design, which improves coolant flow and heat exchange efficiency while reducing overall mass. The curved inlet design of the top tank ensures even water distribution across all tubes, maximizing usable surface area and maintaining consistent cooling under load.
A key advantage of the RS-MAX2 LIGHT is its weight reduction of up to approximately 20% compared to previous-generation designs — a critical benefit in shifter and KZ classes where minimum kart + driver weight regulations make every gram matter.
Manufactured to New-Line’s premium standards, each radiator is TIG welded, hand-assembled, and pressure tested, ensuring durability and performance in high-temperature racing environments. The RS-MAX2 LIGHT is suitable for use year-round and can be paired with an optional deflector or supplementary radiator when racing in extreme heat conditions.
