The FTP Universal Floating Rear Bumper Bolt Kit was developed to eliminate the common failures found with traditional rear bumper mounting systems. OEM bumper bolts often act as the pivot point for bumper movement, causing excessive stress, binding, bent hardware, and broken bolts as the chassis flexes during operation.
The FTP Floating System uses a precision-machined bushing that allows the bumper bracket to rotate freely around the mounting point while the bolt remains securely tightened to the chassis. This eliminates binding, reduces stress on the hardware, and allows the rear of the kart to flex naturally as intended.
Unlike oversized holes, loose hardware, bumper saver cables, or secondary retention devices, the FTP system provides a clean, secure, and professional solution that is both stronger and more durable than conventional OEM bumper hardware.
